THE FULL MOON—ENDINGS Leigh here: Today is the Full Moon. Ruthie, our resident astrologer, says it means endings. She's usually right, but this time she is right on! About an hour ago Timothy showed up at our door with a stack of pictures and a hangdog expression. His beautiful eyes were red-rimmed, telling us he'd been crying. He handed me the pictures and asked if I'd take them for safekeeping. He truly hoped Guthrie would be his friend again someday and want them back. Timothy said he was sorry to put us in the middle, but he's found a terrific guy in Houston and with no prospect of being transferred back to Florida anytime soon, he just couldn't see he and Guthrie getting back together.
Timothy was about to cry; I was about to cry; and Ruthie was crying. The gorgeous hunk shoved the pictures in my hands and raced to his rental car.
"Oh Lord," Ruthie said, jogging out the back door toward Guthrie's condo. "We need to keep an eye on him!"
Penny Sue slunk from the bedroom and snatched the pictures. "Gracious," she murmured, eyes glued to the top photo. "If he dumped me, I'd be massively depressed too!"
