A small preview to my second children's book, Always There. Always There is Joseph Forte’s second children’s book about the truth behind every person. Here is a small bit of the most recent rough draft.
In Eden, everyone knew of Edmund, the homeless man who lived silently under Parkside Bridge. Edmund was often seen with his ragged, ripped clothes and tethered, leather boots scaling the banks of Clearwater Canal searching for food and water. For the most part, life was a battle but some days he’d be seen playing his shiny silver harmonica and dancing with the small ripples of water that washed the stony embankment of Eden’s famous canal.
Thomas Mays was a young local who loved the outdoors. Every Saturday morning he rode along the bicycle path that stretched the distance of the canal bank and every time, Edmund would wave. He craved attention but ignorance was bliss in Thomas’s eyes.
