Last time, I talked about the Westmore series and The Greens, well today it's time to meet The Braxtons.
Andrew is the oldest son and takes over as CEO of Braxton Publishing after the death of his father, Clayton. While Andrew's a whiz at business affairs, he's a mess when it comes to personal matters. His marriage to Elizabeth is on shaky ground and his controlling behavior had driven away his daughters and his son. But when trouble arises, his family pulls together to support one of their own. Just when it looks like things are looking up for The Braxtons, a secret from Andrew's past could destroy the family.
Wayne is Andrew and Elizabeth's only son. Even though he acts tough, Wayne's a sensitive soul. He hasn't had the best relationship with his father, but they patch things up when Wayne runs into trouble. However, their bond is short-lived when Andrew's controlling behavior returns. But Wayne isn't about to let his father get to him again and when he learns about Andrew’s deadly secret, he uses it to his advantage.
Leslie and Courtney moved away to escape their father's behavior, but they soon find themselves back in Westmore for different reasons. Leslie comes back to attend college and finds herself in a new relationship with Peter Green, much to her father’s chagrin. Courtney is brought back by her father, who enlists her help in stopping Wayne’s blackmail. She's never had a good relationship with her brother and is glad to assist her father. When she's not busy helping her father, Courtney is trying to win back the love of her ex-fiancée Jacob Reynolds.
Jeff is married to Marie and they have a daughter named Vanessa. Their marriage hasn't always been easy due to Clayton and Andrew's controlling behavior. But a medical crisis makes them realize how much they love each other. With their marriage back on track the couple plans to adopt and look forward to the future. Jeff is Andrew’s younger brother and the the two of them are estranged from their sister Caroline. The estrangement occurred when Caroline accused their father of murdering their mother. The brothers didn't believe her and blacklisted her from the family, but a new revelation could blow the case wide open.
