A PORTION OF CHIPS - The King Charles Cavalier 11/13/2014 10:11:51 AM
The adventures of a little dog taken from his perspective. Chips was our family pet and lived for 14 wonderful years. We had so much fun with him. He was almost human and filled our lives with utter joy. He died 10 years ago and this is my way of honouring his long life.
Much of what you will read actually happened, I just elaborated a little to make the text flow.
The wars that Chips and Paws - the family cat, actually had were genuine. However, we knew they were close really and often Paws would lay on the floor in front of the fire and Chips would lay with his head on his belly, sometimes giving Paws the odd wash, which Paws,loved.
I hope that you get lots of joy from reading this book. I have loved writing and re-living the events. If you could have met with Chips, he would have ran over to you and given you lots of licks. I suppose, in a way, you will meet with him, in the pages of the book.
