The life and times of a country pastor is an hilarious account of Jack Smithers, pastor of Winmouth Community Church in the UK.
Jack has many an adventure as he goes through his day to day ministry. It is made comical by characters such as Andy - who claims to be an ex SAS veteran who God has commissioned to be Jack's guardian angel. Much to Jack's horror, Andy follows him around, tasting his food and coffee to make sure they are not poisoned, karate chopping everything in sight and camping on Jack's front lawn to be able to keep a close watch over Jack.
Then there is Horace, an 80 year old tear away from a local rest home, who makes Jack's life a misery, even to the point of letting his car tyre down.
