Famous but hate fame? 4/29/2015 9:00:37 AM
Unlike politicians, celebrities can be famous but hate fame. I know why politicians love fame. They are very good at lying. A politician can tell you anything to explain why they voted one way or another, but a celebrity who ironically owns her / his own body cannot explain to the listener's satisfaction why they had an 'unnecessary' plastic surgery. some of us published authors are famous but disclaim fame.
Some celebrities are wealthy enough to buy anything but hate shopping for obvious reasons.
Until recently, most young ladies would say "No" to a guy they actually liked very much. The idea I understand was not to appear overzealous.

So, why do we really say one thing when we mean the exact opposite?
We often say, it's not about 'you' when indeed it is all about 'you'
The one that sounds really idiosyncratic is when someone says: 'It's not about the money' when it's all about Money.
I am not done yet!
We say "Just do it" when we really want to say: "Don't even try it"
We even say: "Good for you" when we are thinking the opposite.
Another thing that's ironic about human behavior is that we might despise sitting on one spot, but voluntarily walk into a 3 hour boring movie, and just sit there to get back our money's worth?
We complain about the heat, but prefer a bright sunny day.
