ISLAMIC TERRORISM

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS has a PHD in Koranic Studies and is in the direct lineage of the prophet MoHamMad but, why would anybody think that ISIS terrorism is, in any way, related to Islam? Nearly every act of terrorism perpetrated by ISIS is justified with reference to Koranic scripture. I mean...soooo? The Koran is a book of love & peace. Why can't we understand that and simply disregard the 109 verses which call Muslims to war with us infidels for the sake of Islamic rule? I guess we're just too damn pig-headed which is why Islamic terrorists keep cutting off our heads...pork is unholy for heaven's sake! Blow yourself up, kill a bunch of infidels and go straight to Islamic heaven...lots of nubile virgins and all the wine you can drink. That beats the hell out of the heaven I was taught about. (It also begs the question...what the hell is heaven for Islamic women? Then again, why should anybody give a damn about women? Silly me.)
It's been said before and worth repeating...the most effective way to prevent Muslims from killing non-Muslims is to stop trying to prevent Muslims from killing Muslims in places like Iraq & Syria. It is for similar reasons that police officers hate to become involved in incidents of domestic violence. Most often the man and woman will both turn on the police. It's a no-win situation. The Sunnis and the Shia hate each other but, are united in their hatred of us. The violence that non-Muslims have perpetrated upon Muslims is dwarfed by the amount of violence & murder that Muslims have perpetrated upon their fellow Muslims.
To those non-Muslims who still believe that Islam is a religion of peace...READ THE KORAN! And, read it in a language you understand. P.S. Of course, acts of terror are committed by Christians & Jews, etc. but, those acts are rarely committed in the name of the perpetrators' religion and justified by citing passages from the Bible or the Torah. Also, are most Muslims terrorists? Absolutely not! The problem is that most terrorists these days are Muslims. That is partially due to the demise of the LTTE in Sri Lanka from whom Islamic terrorists copied several tactics like suicide bombers & improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
