Social Distancing...a good time for authors? 3/26/2020 5:28:25 PM
Since most of us write solo, social distancing is turning out to be an opportunity to focus and finish so much in the world of writing. Honestly, I was getting bored with the ongoing isolation of ourselves from each other that I started focusing on my unfinished writing assignments. Suddenly, it turned out that it was an opportunity to go back to solo writing with or without the comfort of the sea breeze that clears my mind at my favorite beach; aka Daytona.
In the last forth-night that I have been on half day work for a full days pay at my day job, I have really refocused on writing as soon as I hit the home front. As philosophers say, there is always a bright star in a dark cloud.
Since this too shall pass, God knows when, I think every author should use this time wisely blogging if you are not writing or marketing your existing work.
As for me and my household, we are very busy. Yes, very busy indeed writing solo as the thoughts flow undisturbed, and uninterrupted by dinner dates and group events at one park, museum, or sports arena.
While this too shall pass, I am dedicated more than ever before to take advantage of this unsolicited time in my bare hands. Bravo!
