Governing By Destruction And Cruelty 5/23/2020 11:34:40 AM
The effects of the Trump Administration. For the last three and one-half years, the country has been subjected daily to cruel, destructive, vitriolic and bullying behavior emanating from the White House.
We've seen in the media children crying, taken away from their parents and locked in cages. We've also seen and read about our FBI, CIA, Secret Service, military and employees of the Department of Justice denigrated, bullied and demoralized. There hasn't been a government agency from (A - Z) which hasn't been subjected to cruel and arbitrary decisions affecting all Americans. With this pandemic, more than ever, we see that government services are greatly needed, and no one knowledgeable enough to help those suffering.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a world-renowned scientific agency has been made to look inept and incompetent recently because of the COVID-19 response. Did this happen because of the micromanagement of the occupant in the White House by disbanding the pandemic committee, not having Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the list goes on?
No one has gone unscathed from the cruelty. Some farmers from the heartland whose families had owned their land for generations have been destroyed because financially they can’t keep their property. It has been reported of farmers committing suicide caused by their inability to sell their crops because of tariffs imposed by this Administration.
Hurricane season begins in two weeks. Puerto Rico has yet to see substantial assistance from FEMA and the federal government. People of color in the islands and from coast-to-coast on the mainland have been subjected to cruel, harsh, unequal and inadequate treatment during catastrophic conditions these last few years.
Enough is enough! We must vote out of office this cruel and destructive person. We deserve better.
