Republican Leaders and "No Mask Mandate" 7/17/2020 6:51:07 AM
The importance of wearing masks during this pandemic. Some Republican leaders are issuing “no mask mandates, ” excluding Gov. Ivey, Alabama. Gov. Kemp from Georgia greeted President recently wearing a mask, but issued a “no mask mandate” for his state residents. I guess this is “do as I say, not as I do.” You will even hear some say “this is a 1st amendment right not to wear masks.”
Let us examine this further – no masks = potential for contracting COVID-19. You may not even survive and become an inhabitant of a refrigerated morgue truck since morgues in hospitals are full.
Let's take this a step further – Lt. Governor Patrick says “that seniors won't mind dying.” What seniors did he talk to? Would he say this if it was his mother, father, or other senior member of his family? Is this really true?
Is this the Republican way – encourage invincibility so you don't wear masks and there will be more concierge testing for Trump Administration, friends, acolytes and sycophants; celebrities – not enough testing for the masses?
Purportedly, two vaccines are showing great promise. Billions of doses will be needed for all inhabitants on Mother Earth, but only millions of doses will be available. How will this distribution of doses actualize?
The smart thing for all citizens to do is protect your own health, don’t listen to politicians and “wear masks!”
