Republicans Play, the Masses Cry 7/23/2020 7:16:18 AM
Republicans callous disregard for American citizens. During this pandemic, the Republican leadership thought it was more important to appoint judges to the judiciary versus taking up the “Hero's Act” ensuring that the country's economy doesn't falter more because of their cavalier attitude and ineptitude. They had promised to provide a better form of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), but didn't. Now people are experiencing multiple pre-existing conditions (sequelae), and the Trump administration is trying to totally eliminate the (ACA), when it's greatly needed. It has been noted some Republicans have been out golfing with the President, instead of performing their duties as an elected official for the people.
Incorrectly, they believe that masses of Americans are getting too much money from the federal government. Republican leaders care only that businesses get money, rather than Americans who also pay taxes. How are they supposed to find a job during this pandemic, and many businesses haven't re-opened when the COVID-19 infections and deaths are rising? Some unemployed people have worked greater than thirty-four years at the same company, never collected a penny from the federal government, and now, can’t feed their families, pay their rent or mortgages, and could face homelessness.
If the Republican leadership care for all Americans, they must pass the “Hero's Act” now and stop the Nation's pain and crying.
