Village idiot here....We all get pushed off course through our own actions, in-actions, horrible luck, or fate. How we respond defines us. Hurt is a chameleon. It adjusts to your colors and patterns. It sticks like glue until one day you say enough! You are exercizing the strenth to break those bonds. You will prevail. Patrick

I empathize entirely, CT. But I don't think it's ourselves we have to conquer. It's the relentless spiritual forces that come against us to kill, steal, and destroy, what the Most High God has given us to glorify Him with, that need to be kept at bay. Your musical voice, your ability to express your innermost heart with words, these things the enemy of our souls hates desperately. Especially when he knows someone is seeking out wholeness and the Truth of all ages. You can't fight the battle in your own strength. You have to fight it in His. You will never find completeness, or integrity, or wholeness, or lasting happiness, online or at some seminar, or especially in some response to what you've written. You find it on your face crying out in all faith. Your openness here has blessed me this morning. Light and Wisdom... rlc

I agree with the others. You are a very dear, sweet, compassionate person fully aware of who you are and what you expect from yourself. But you are also too critical of yourself. Expecting perfection is a bit too much. All in all, you are a very talented writer.

Dear Chris,

You put more heart and soul in your writings than almost everyone I know on the den. When you are gone for a spell, you are greatly missed. Now if you were gone from the face of the earth today you would be missed like no other. Now you know how I feel but I know I am not the Lone Ranger. That's for sure!
