This poetry contest is open to all poets over the age of 13 and from around the world. Poetry contest submissions must be unpublished and no more than 30 lines in length (including spaces). Poems may be written on any subject, free verse or traditional, and entries are unlimited. Please read the Official Rules for more in depth information.
1st Place: $100.00 cash, Chapbook publication deal, and a Shadows Ink Chapbook
2nd Place: $25.00 Gift Certificate from the SP Shop and a Shadows Ink Chapbook
3rd Place: $10.00 Gift Certificate from the SP Shop and a Shadows Ink Chapbook
Plus, winners will receive a poetry certificate to frame, a printed copy of their poem, and a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbon.
The top forty scoring poems from each contest will grace the pages of a Shadows Ink Chapbook Series 1 - Volume 3. These chapbooks will be available for purchase at the end of each contest.
