Nightseer

Twelve beautiful souls
Arranged in harmony
Brightly beamed
In romantic slender

Twelve blooming souls
Radiated red brilliance
And cast heaven's scent
Outward toward love

Twelve weeping souls
Bowed their heads
Among baby's breath
And prayed for rain

Twelve wilted souls
Died giving away beauty
Yesterday's silken angels
Returned to the Earth
