Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

I hope you are busy preparing for this wonderful November holiday.  My husband has one bird cooking and we are preparing to pick up the other one at our local market. This is the first year we have done this as a couple. Since the turkey at the store is not big enough for us to have lots of leftovers, we bought another one. We both feel it's important to support our local businesses during this awful pandemic. I hope you will be able to gather with some of your family members this year. They are saying no large groups in our state. It looks like lots of people are travelling despite the Covid numbers. We have been masking and staying home a lot. I got out to pick up toys I had ordered for the children in our family and it felt good. The stores are not so crowded on a Tuesday before the holiday.  For this I was thankful. I am thankful for all my family, friends and this wonderful country we live in. Despite all the drawbacks it has, the U.S. is still a free country. Have a great dinner and thanksgiving weekend. Be sure to thank God for all He gives.   VWB
