We are in the cold days of November this week. We just turned the heat on two days ago. There are still pumpkins in the fields in Vista and Carlsbad. I just love this time of year. It's fall here in south Cali. The northern tree leaves are in the peak reds. Hyacinth flowers trail up the bushes and even up into trees in the country. Bouganvilla flowers trail in reds, oranges and coral along the fences, freeways, even homes. California trees are topped with coral, orange, pink and red flowers. There are hedges in San Diego with yellow, daisy like flowers. I saw some last weekend in Mission Bay. The white roses are still blooming on bushes too. I'm excited to wear my new corduroy jacket and heavier jeans. Fall here is different than my childhood home but just as pretty. Enjoy the colors of fall everyone. Be thankful for all you have.
