Fall is here in San Diego. Flowers color our trees as leaves turn color in other states.
The trees are covered in shades of red, maroon, red-orange, orange, and pink flowers as the fall season arrives. I saw one red leaf on a tree in the mountains this past week. We had a super bloom with a second spring this summer. The flowers were so beautiful, covering whole fields in yellow in the Carlsbad area. Gold poppies covered mountains in the rural areas. September came with a blur. I blinked and it was over. Now I'm seeing spooky doorways and yards all over our fair city. I misplaced my Halloween decor so have to get to the store and get some more. We went to a Party City this past weekend and I couldn't believe the costumes and scary yard decor they had. I believe half the store was filled with it. Have fun this fall, looking at brightly colored leaves (flowers if in southern California). The trees here don't usually turn until November. Have fun preparing for Halloween too.
