Soul Vomit: Beating Domestic Violence is still searching for submissions.

By October 1st, send in your poetry, short stories, or short prose and essay pieces to be considered for publication in the first annual Soul Vomit anthology, scheduled for publication in early December.

The short story and essay word count should be 2,000 words or less, but we'll still consider works up to 3,000 words.

Submissions MUST be made through the submission manager!

We want the world to know how horrible violence behind closed doors is and how exhilirating the realization that you can rise above and still have a life even after such a confusing and painful ordeal.

We're looking for submissions from anyone with a perspective on this topic - men, women, children, sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, cousins, neighbors... even if you've only just been told to shut your mouth in the middle of a diner and begged for someone to say something with your eyes.

Thise are the stories that need to be told.

Though submissions for this anthology are free, we don't have the funding available to send out contributors' copies at this time. Updates will appear on the web site as things changed... we'll keep you apprised.
