It's that time....time to announce the winners of the animal poetry contest. The results are below. A total of $350 was raised from the proceeds from the contest for the Madison County Humane Society! Not bad for a contest that only ran for a couple of weeks! Many entries were sent with an extra donation for the shelter and I truly appreciate it. Can't wait to present the proceeds to them tomorrow. It was hard to choose just two winners because I received so many wonderful entries. In fact, don't be surprised if some of you get an email soon asking to include your poetry in a book next year! Well, I can't post the poems here. I just tried and it just turns out as one long paragraph with no spaces. The first place winner is "Digging the Grave" by Faith St John.
