My time travel action adventure is off to my editor!
I've eventually completed the latest version of 'The Taexali Game'- my time travel novel for the younger end of the YA market.
Contemporary kids whizz back to AD 210 north-east Scotland at a time when the last large advance of Ancient Roman forces flooded the area. It was fabulous to write about the Emperor Severus who sent not only some 30,000 of his Roman soldiers, but he was also accompanied by his son, Caracalla, who appears to have been a bit of a tearaway!
You'll be able to read the action adventure sometime in 2015. Look forward to reading about my intrepid time trio- Aran, Fianna and Brian- as they fulfil their quest to help the Celtic Taexali and Caledon tribes.
ps Funnily enough old man Severus gets a wee bit of help as well!
