I was stunned by the depth of knowledge that the authors showed in every facet of ship operations and terminology, not to mention the authentic sounding (and robust) sailor language. I really enjoyed Atia’s characters. She was feisty, caring, but also strong and persevered through the scary situations despite her fears. Gator Gar was also great. He wasn’t a typical pirate, but more gentlemanly. Reading their romance blossom was heartwarming. Well, just wanted to say how much I loved the book! Off to read the 2nd!"
