As an author you are always dreaming of a movie deal. It's a big deal for any author, but it's not easy if you don't know someone who knows someone else...who knows someone else. Get the picture?  But it's fun looking around.

I'm happy to announce that I've been approached to have a screenplay written about my book, "Stabbing Pencey Boudreaux". I'm reading about what's involved in this happening for my work, and the best advice I've had was to get an entertainment lawyer. I will do that because being approached is not a done deal. 

But still SO EXCITED.

Stabbing Pencey Boudreaux

In the town of Thibodaux, Louisiana, four close friends since high school gather to help Pencey Boudreaux with a family problem, and as they talk, memories make them aware that they have all been the target of controlling people in their families; a common thread in every home. Pencey, Laura Lee, Annie and Ida Mae soon find out the hard way that Jane, Pencey’s albatross, wears two masks; a sweet and innocent mask, and a sadistic, dark mask that none of them knew existed.
