The guide is designed for ages 13+ / Grades 7-10 and uses the world of Halidom as a starting point for literature, engineering, biology, environmental systems, communication, writing, and discussion.
Students can explore topics such as pulleys and counterweights, knots, flight, resonance, biological control, systems thinking, practical knowledge, stewardship, and worldbuilding.
The unit study can be read online or downloaded as a printable PDF.
Beneath the Cloudline is a hopeful science-fantasy adventure about a divided city, the systems keeping it alive, and the people learning how to repair what generations before them allowed to break.
