Gothic Mystery novelist discusses research and writing in two new interviews on line.

"While I was in the middle of writing my first mystery, we had a most unusual visitor who'd appear, then disappear, seemingly at will. At first he seemed oblivious of us and gave the impression he wanted to be left alone ... and we were all too willing to let him go his own ay. Anyone who could walk through walls the way he did had our upmost respect."
