North Carolina mystery writer Susan Whitfield compiled family favorite recipes from mystery writers across the country for a fun  project which benefits The American Cancer Society. All recipes (nearly 90 in all) have the contributing author's name, titles, and sites underneath recipes they submitted. Rather than put the money in her own pocket, Whitfield set up the project to benefit cancer research in honor of her grandson, Caleb, and thousands of other survivors of this terrible disease. "It is because of incredible doctors who depend on the latest research that Caleb and all the rest have survived. Please support our cause and enjoy the food, none of which is harmful.
