The 2007 PSWA writing contest winners were announced at the annual conference in Las Vegas. Carl Saari's unpublished novel, The Mile-Marker Murders won the Grand Prize, a $1099 publishing package donated by iUniverse. Volitta Fritsche's non-fiction, unpublished short story, Routine Patrol won a second Grand Prize, a writer's package donated by Law Enforcement Technology magazine. All entries received a judge's critique and winners had a press release issued to their chosen publications. Michelle Perin coordinated this year's contest and will be coordinating the contest for 2008.
Prime-Time Crime Time (600 pages) is a collection of 35 fictional crime/detective stories and the work is author Jay Dubya's 43rd published hardcover/paperback book.
