Dog Gone continues to attract to fifth and sixth grade students.
The small paperback, Dog Gone: Boomer's Story, has now been adopted into four Indiana elementary and middle schools and one school in Florida. Brenda Greene, author, continues to make author visits and supplies the teachers with an indepth activity book for classroom activities.
Mrs. Greene finds excitement in speaking to the young readers and sharing with them not only pet stories but also the process of writing. As of October, 2008, the book is slowly making its way to other states and schools.
