An Alex Sedaka Mystery

Andromeda (“Andi”) Phoenix and Eugenia (“Gene”) Vance love each other.  But their love is about to be tested in my new thriller Click here (published June 10th 2010).  For Gene has devoted most of her life to counseling rape survivors – and Andi has just been pressured into taking second seat in the defense of a man accused of rape.

The defendant is neo-conservative TV personality and former black radical Elias Claymore.  He is accused of raping a white girl in a case that threatens to divide America more deeply than the O J Simpson trial.  And to make matters worse, he committed similar crimes in his Black Power days, before returning to America as a born-again Christian to face the music.

The defense is being led by Claymore’s old friend Alex Sedaka,  But while Alex probes weaknesses in the DNA evidence and the alleged victim’s testimony, it is Andi who finds explosive evidence of jury tampering.  However, when she raises the issue with the judge, she finds herself targeted in a hate mail campaign by a malicious hacker who seems to know her every move.

And to add to Alex Sedaka’s problems, the case is being reported by his on-again-off-again girlfriend who may be putting herself in danger...
