In the past 7 weeks, over 10,000 visits have occurred. That's an average of about 1,400 per week, or 5,600 per month.
I would just like to THANK everyone who has taken the time to visit and read something.
While I do try my best to track several authors here at AD, and also to visit and comment on their tremendous works, there just aren't enough hours in the day, or days in the week for me to accomplish more reading time.
Although RETIRED, I do work 3 days per week to supplement my meager SSA and Pension income. Accordingly, I totally understand that all of YOU fellow authors have busy lives also.
It is with profound humility, mixed with a generous supply of surprise, that I post these growing figures. I do honestly believe that I have some level of talent for writing, and I thoroughly enjoy both writing and reading, but thus far I have not earned any money for it.
Some day, it will happen. Somehow, someone will like something enough to actually ASK to publish it.
I can only hope that it is not POSTHUMOUSLY!
