Women comprised 53 percent of the total national vote — as they did in 2008 — and went for President Obama by 11 points, a gender gap critical to his victory. Female politicians — particularly on the Democratic side — also had a very good night. The Senate added Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), Tammy Baldwin (Wis.),  Mazie Hirono (Hawaii) and Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.) to its ranks while reelecting potential 2016-ers Kirstin Gillibrand (N.Y.) and Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) Women ruled the day in New Hampshire, which elected a new governor (Maggie Hassan) and two new House members (Carol Shea Porter and Ann Kuster). Add Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R) and Jeanne Shaheen (D) to that mix and you have an all-female congressional delegation from the Granite State.

Now that women voters are starting to have the power, let’s not lose track of what we have to do. Evaluate each and every candidate you voted for that will take office on January 01, 2012. And start preparing for the 2016 Presidential Election!

I have always known that women would eventually gain the power to change their lives; I just did not know when it would happen. I am overjoyed to find out it happened in my lifetime…

I researched how many people actually did vote in the 2012 Presidential Primary on November 06, 2012. 

27,674,708       Approximately VOTED! ^[1]

197,043,702     Approximately DID NOT VOTE! ^[1] 

The women and men that did not vote still do not know what is going on in our country or the world for various reasons.

The people who voted Republican some 47% of them are because of hatred of others not like them; mostly white male’s still living in the RED States, still living in the past. I started to see this back in the 1970’s during the Click here, I realized that hatred for the differences in people living in the U.S. would keep not only Black Americans back from succeeding in this country, but also women and any other immigrant not like them WHITE MALE…

Thus why it is so imperative even in the 21^st Century that we continue to educate ALL men and women to why equality works. It is no longer a social issue, but an economic issue.
