It's the first week of fall. I can't believe summer is over already.
Hi everyone,
I hope you had a wonderful summer. It went so fast again this year. I took my annusl trip north to see family in August. We had a grand time. I did see a few fall trees but I go late August and not a lot of trees are colored yet. It was hot there so their fall is delayed a bit this year. Our trees here in San Diego are starting to turn but we don't have that many yet either. The flowers are making a beautiful landscape for us however. I love the periwinkle hedges and bright red-orange flowered trees. The bright yellow blooms are gorgeous this time of year too. Have fun getting out warmer clothes and making more chili and soups. Cooking more soup is something I look forward to in fall. Enjoy the cooler nights too.
