I thought you’d be interested to know that I just received an email announcing the winners of the National Indie Excellence Book Awards in Beverly Hills, CA. Charlie No Face was a Finalist in General Fiction. That means it came in second. There was a winner and two finalists. I am very pleased about this.
Just got back from the book reading/signing in my hometown. It was a lot of fun. About forty folks attended and they were very welcoming. Many had already read the book so they had great comments and lots to share. They recognized so much that was in the book from their own personal experience which made it all the more special for me. I should have brought more books because I sold out before the reading even started. Came home with orders for about thirty more copies.
