Starting the Next Novel

After a few months of note writing and research, I sat down at the computer last Thursday when I was sure I had the first sentence figured out and began to write. I’ve passed 3,000 words since and I feel that I am off to a good start.
As for the title, there is a story. When our eldest granddaughter, Gianna (now 2), was one, she loved to play a game in which we would hold her arms and swish her across her mommy and daddy's slippery kitchen floor. This sent her into gales of laughter. Of course, it wore us out pretty quickly, so after several turns we would say, “One more time.” She misinterpreted this as “More, more time,” which she then decided was the name of the game. When we would come into the house, she would plop down on the floor with a smile and say, “More, more time!” I wondered if she knew exactly what she was saying: “I want more, more of this game that I love.” At the time I told my wife that I’d love to use that phrase as a book title someday. Well, ‘someday’ has come. The title of my new novel is “More More Time.” It is a very odd tale about an aging high school history teacher who has a notion about when the world will end. Only problem - - - the date he keeps hearing has passed several years before.
Should be fun.
