Love’s Gift

I see within your heart and soul so dear

A place of warmth I long to be near

Given hope to capture dreams long lost

A calmer sea where I’m not tossed

Shadows that use to daunt my days now lifted

Peace of mind and love I’ve been gifted

A future bright with someone by my side

With promises and dreams I can confide

Two arms to hold me tight and not let go

Through rainy nights and winters snow

Kisses given to melt my heart and warm my soul

Mending a broken life that now feels whole

My love for you runs deep and true

All I have to give is just for you

Can you see the love within my eyes

For it’s only you that they recognize

A lifetime of memories we have started

Mingled life’s we share never to be parted
