Fire of God

In the blink of an eye,
It began with just a spark.
A dream of untold dimensions,
As the fire of God was born from the dark.

Carried on the wings of angels,
Whispered on the breath of the wind.
The truth is yours now and forever.
The fire of God comes from within.

Burning ever so brightly,
He gave it no name, no purpose or design.
Yet it bends to the will of its master,
This miracle of the divine.

No devil can break its hold,
And no sin can diminish its light.
It cuts through the darkness like a bolt of lightning,
This holy fire that conquered the night.

So listen closely to what I say.
And tell the good news to everyone you see.
What I speak of is for the faithful and sinner alike.
The fire of God is a part of thee.
