A Season

To everything there is a season

I know you’ve heard this once or twice

But to get you to believe it

Would surely be nice

For when I created you

I knew you would face many tests

But my overall purpose was for you to be blessed

Yes seasons will come that will bring heartache and pain

But more will follow where I’ll remove those stains

Yes some days will seem dark and others quite bright

And times it’ll appear the time isn’t right

But focus not on the hurdles, obstacles or setbacks

Learn that this too shall pass, and take time to relax

Learn to accept each season as a growing stage

Accept what must be and turn the page
