Sista, I know you’re hurting

And you’ve felt some aches and pains

And with all of life’s struggles

You feel you’ll never be the same

For you’ve cried all night

And sometimes all day

But, know, my Sista

This too shall pass, someday

I know it’s hard to see right now

The sunshine through the rain

But understand that someone cares

And He’ll take away the pain

I know you wanna give up

And you wanna run and hide

But don’t give up my Sista

Let the Lord come inside

Forget all your failures

And focus on your dreams

Forget how the past treated you

And remember you’re a Queen

Just smile a little each day

And continue to hold on

Know that God is standing by

And he’ll never leave you alone

For you are special to Jesus

And you’re Special to me

So open up your heart and your mind

And let Jesus set you free

He’ll take away those burdens

He’ll remove all the sins

He’ll mold you into a new creature

And let you start again

So hold your head up

And walk in his Grace

Know you’re loved through it all

So put a smile on your face

Sometimes you may feel Lost

And you’re scared you won’t make it

But know it’s just a test

And you have the strength to take it

God loves you no matter what

So you need not be ashamed

He will fix it after while

And even change your name

So take heart my Sista

Know that trials make you strong

And though the tears continue to flow

In His heart you belong

For No weapon formed shall prosper

The enemy won’t prevail

Just walk like a woman of victory

Even when life gives you Hell

Cause you were chosen long ago

To serve God above

So give yourself a chance my Sista

And show yourself some Love

Stop giving up your body

Stop giving up your pride

Stop giving up your self esteem

Let Jesus come inside

Things will get better soon

Just keep your eyes on the prize

Know that you’re worthy of Love

And forget Satan’s lies

For you’re someone special

And you deserve the very best

So expect a life of abundance

And expect to be blessed

Just look forward to your destiny

Seek His purpose, vision, and Will

Know that he knows your needs

And your hopes will be fulfilled

There’s nothing you can’t do

No matter what people say

Even when things look bad

Tomorrow’s another day

So keep the faith and hold on

In the midst of this mess

Know that Jesus is working

To answer every request

It’s not too late to press on

No matter how bad it seems

Just know you’re God’s

Blessed child

So save your self-esteem
