My blue baboon
Some are silver
Some are gray

Are totally blue
Resting on your haunches
Contemplating the launches
Of your cousin who is green
With envy of your blueness
Your father is violet
Your mother is rose
They both want to know
How did you become
A primary colored primate
Of the colors for you to choose
How could you refuse …
To pick a color that would confuse

Eric I don't know why but I love this poem. I can still remember sitting in my room sporting blue watching as you wrote this. It's a crazy poem that will always bring back fond memories.
