Light enters an emptyroom,
it's brillance dissipating in gray corners.
Seems the soul hides here,
with parched mouths open wide.
Abandoned bodies lay like soldiers,
bloody and bruised from battle.
Has Death come to visit?
Or has Life been exiled from this place?
Nothing left to see, nothing left to feel,
in a dreamless sleep they wander.
Sighs of unbearable heaviness,
rise from such excruciating desire.
None had seen it coming,
an inevitable demise.
Trapped inside aimless hope,
their bones have been picked clean.
