 Standing at the edge of darkness,

staring into infinity...

breath, upon breath, upon breath,

until the final hour.

 

Illusions of time, illusions of order,

slip away without reason.

No control, we cannot know,

why or where we began.

 

Wanting to scream, but for what?

And to whom? Is anyone listening?

In the mystery of being,

was this all just a dream?
