Into a dark abyss, thy have fallen, Struggling uncertainly into the night. Without spirit of life, all is solemn. Thy beauty has faded with loss of light.
Fight it no more, thy place in life is set. The siren's song has fallen on deaf ears. Though the light one finds would outweigh the debt The pathway has blurred from the falling tears.
Oh, hold the longing inside thy still heart. Faded dreams of the peace one may have found. Thy words lie eternal, thy soul apart. No true feeling, no sight and then no sound.
From the darkness to the light they will pray For the one true desire to come thy way.
