She stands at the door empty hearted and more;

With no willingness to trust ever again.

Eyes dulled by time and cheeks stained with falling tears,

The remnants of her bleeding soul hit the floor.

Dreams that were fated as once upon a time

Stream within the place where only stale breath lie.

Arms that were never filled to capacity

And a wounded soul that died became the crime.

A shell that’s left for ravenous ones to eat;

For to feast on the downtrodden is their bliss.

Nothing left, to live or to love, she lies there.

She has been conquered by her own torturous feat.

How dare she tread through this world and try to live?
What could she have been thinking she had to give?

Everyone was born for a reason. Don't ever give up yourself to the devils. A sad write indeed. Well-expressed.
