The birth of poem...

Impregnated by the essence of you,

My soul nourishes your existence.

Months of gestation, I await your due.

You grow, inside, drenched in magnificence.

Outside, my vessel goes from day to day,

Drowning in the desire to bring you here.

A labored sigh from down deep leads the way

As your spirit pushes aside the fear.

A night of agony and sleepless slumber,

Bearing down to bring you into this life,

I cast away those thoughts that encumber

And pull you from my subsistence of strife.

From mortal breath to my hand you are born.

A spirit to words, a song in the morn.

Hi Mary,
Wonderful job. You said it just as it is. Honestly. I loved it.
Looking forward to reading more of your work.
Thanks for your encouraging words about My Unusual Experiences With Spirits story. It is really a story from a book that I have written by that title, I just have published it yet.
Keep up your great work.
Sorry I took so long to acknowledge your review of my work.
