Once again, I return to my lost loves. This is about a dream I had regarding one of them the night before Palm Sunday, 2005. I say "regarding" since the girl didn't really appear in the dream.
Late one night, I sort of had a dream about you. I dreamed I met a mutual friend who said "remember me?" and dropped your name. She said you'd gone so far away and fell on tough times. Gravely ill, your marriage troubled, your daughter weeping. A bit of fear jolted me awake, in the middle of the night. I held you closer though you weren't there my arm around thin air, the following day in church. Now, I stare at your name staring back at me from the online reunion board. A question haunts my mind Do I look? How are you? I hope you're well.

If we were honest within ourselves we all have had wonderings of old friends, "I wonder if she remembers me? Wonder what happened to her? etc. I know I have. With the internet as it is I've even searched for my old friends and crushes. I'm the sort who always keeps the friends no matter where they are. I'm true to the years.
