There’s no doubt about it;
Life is full of highs and lows,
And it’s a fallacy
That one reaps what one sows.
It’s often just the opposite,
If the truth be told.
Usually peppered generously
With it’s complications multifold.
Could that be why the first sound from us
Is a lusty cry?
Yet, the last one before we exit,
Is but a gentle sigh?
Surviving the ups and downs
Can be quite a chore
When you live upon a stage
Without the comfort of a trap door
You can escape through,
If things get really hard,
And you don’t know the criteria
Used on your life’s scorecard.
Yet, even when the twilight falls
And death knocks upon the door,
There isn’t a soul I know
Who doesn’t beg God for one day more
To feel the sunshine upon their face
Or gaze upon the starlit sky
Before life’s final curtain falls
And to life they finally bid good-bye.

This is beautiful you are an angel your work speaks for our God. Love the key to life, feeling someones pain rather than self all the time.
