A promise, people easily make

A promise, we should never break.

A promise isn’t just our word

A promise broken; quite absurd.

A promise false, nothing pure

A promise could lie, that’s for sure.

A promise faith can lead you blind

A promise, He gives, when Him we find

A promise from God; eternal life

A promise, the Devil brings us strife.

A promise to care; always: forever

A promise He’ll be here, leaving; never.

A promise, Jehova, saves your soul

A promise, through Christ, all is whole.

A promise of praise, walking right

A promise, is truth, in the light.

A promise with comfort; internal peace

A promise all trials, doesn’t cease.

A promise, I promise, Compassion too

A promise Jesus, does love you.
