Somewhere between my agony and dreams,
Visions of you dance on memory's wings
Grievous stress intensifies my loneliness
Losing you has aborted my greatest life quest
Somewhere between my sorrow and pain,
Your laughter ripples throughout my brain
Your loving, haunting memory,
Beckons me enter into reverie
Somewhere within my being, near my life's spark,
Somewhere within my soul and broken heart,
Your whispering voice, of soothing melody,
Waifs amidst my pain, forever calling me
I shall answer you with my very last breath!
I shall answer you beyond my earthly death!
Somewhere, somehow, I shall sing your name,
Again and again and again and again!

lovely write Gwen...nice multi-layered flow in this...the verse evoked two related by different responses in me...one was earthly, human love...the other was spiritual...the picture, oddly...and no fun intended, reminded me of Campell's song, Witchita Lineman...you did good here.
