May God bless all who suffer

Hearing their words
Feeling their pain
Empathizing with them

Deep are their life wounds
How much they suffer
How grave their situation

Their words pierced my veil
Of perception
Slapped my face of apathy
Snatched me into their realm
Of terror

Their words forced me to my knees
In prayer and contemplation
Yet in awe of their courage

Causing my heart to overflow
With compassion -- With respect
And with love

Honesty is, the key to magestic fullfillment
Rich & grand are the fruit honesty yields
improve youre expression, youre profile says
Improvement comes from digging deeper..
Neverending well, honesty remains.

So compassionate are you. I am too. When hearing about illness on den or elsewhere it hits home with me too. I do pray for those suffering with incurable illnesses or curable ones. But sometimes we need to just leave them in God's hands and he will make it o.k.

How ironic! I just posted a poem that was very much like this one. When you suffer keep in mind that his hand is still on you shoulder to steady you.
