Three words that together are bigger on the inside.

I love you
They are not just three words
inside of them a beating heart exists,
a warm and gentle breeze, a summers day,
a flowering meadow, a cool mountain stream,
everything I feel about you but no other words can say.

I love you
Emotion bringing in its wake the pain and fear of loosing you, the pounding that a widowed heart
will make, the unfair twists that come from fate to prove a loving heart can break.

I love you
These Words if uttered unrequited its sweet flavour becoming tainted like a fist will bring to all a bitter blow,
the worst just like the winters snow, an avalanche that buries hope entomb it on the mountain's slope.

I love you
Like an early spring, a sun melting every frozen thing, the buried hopes uncovered tomb basking now as flowers bloom.

I love you

A beautiful expression of those beautiful words so hard for men to say.

I've often wondered why women fall for men that use those words lightly in order to get their way with the particular woman that they are with. They disgust me with their cavalier use of the words to get where they want. On the other side, women of low self-esteem seem to be willing fed such a lie.
