I know not diction
'tis plain to see
nor does she know me
raised at tables differing
yes, her and me
I write to the song that
I hear in my heart
an echo I dictate
as my pen
bellows back
slow down
For I'm only a simple scribe you must see
who pens what his heart cries
and what eye does intake
to imagine a verse
where it begins or ends
would stop the
flurry of words riding fast
quick upon pen
I have little time as it is
to scratch quickly her words
for I compose nothing
but the words
hers offered unearthed
agreed, editing a marvel
helps others to see
yet my might lies not
on that field
academia not seen
so my words crude and plain
are all they remain
my heart scripted
in truth
and so it shall stay
I agree yea, that your way's
clad in prettier indeed
yet I know only my way
fail or succeed
stubborn and pridefull
these words play no part
my simplicity
in base rawness
I fear it must stay
I honor your efforts
kind sir for your time
but I know not of such things
nor what they imply
for if I were to be mindful
of all you have said
I could never pen heart
steeped in windswept dread
for these things that you speak of
come not easily for me
for education missed me
oh don't you see
I compose not nor structure
the words that I toss
they jump up inside me
till
I pen them to thee
they know not of these things
high and lofty indeed
for they merely
follow the leader
till all are on stage
I hope this explains some
my dear friend of heart
its not that your wrong
Im just not very smart.
or chiseled I should say
in such things you do speak
so forgive please my simple style
basted in base
I pray due to such things its worth
not erased
for content must stand taller
than the frame structure of house
if not, then they failed me
my simple words of heart.
Crude and plain? Never! I see only stars glittering heavens, mountains trembling, and flowers swaying in the breeze, with every word you offer us. Never put down your pen!
I love your style of poetry, so much flow and excellent expression, These wondeful poems come from your heart, that is plain to see, and beautiful to read,

To steal your metaphor; it isn't the walls that make a home. Now I must here note that I enjoy grammar and puntuation but I will always maintain content be the far superior virtue and you, Sir, are the master of content. Mal.
Fantastic write! And how I love these words of heart! Thanks Rodney! ~Joseph

Well done...simple is best. As far as spelling...that's what spell-check is for. Not to worry.
